Flavours of Andalucia

The ‘Flavours of Andalucia’ tour is a 5 day/4 night experience aimed at guests who have visited the great Cities of the region and would like to experience some of the other elements for which Andalucia is famous for, from the white villages to its produce and gastronomy.

For the tour you stay at the 4* Antequera Parador Hotel.

Tour Itinerary Overview

Day 1:

Arrive and collection from Malaga, subject to time, visit pretty Mijas mountain village before transfer to your accommodation in historic Antequera.

Day 2:

After a leisurely breakfast, we will collect you at 10:00 and take you to visit the beautiful white Moorish village of Frigiliana, voted one of the prettiest villages in Spain. Enjoy wandering its charming lanes and take lunch. After lunch, we visit the amazing Nerja Caves with their huge stalagmites and stalactites and cavernous chambers and a short visit to The Balcon de Europa in Nerja . We return to your accommodation arriving early evening.

Day 3:

At 09:30, we depart for a visit to the natural wonder of El Torcal, the limestone towers and a National Park. You can undertake the 45 minute walk through the amazing formations or simply relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery from the cafeteria. After lunch, we visit an organic Olive Oil Mill to see the process of producing high quality Olive Oil and a tasting. 

Day 4:

At 10:00, we visit the 5,000 year old monumental Megalithic structures, the Dolmens of Antequera and spend some time in historic Antequera. After lunch, we head to a Wine Bodega for a wine tasting . The Bodega is situated in a beautiful setting near the mountain range of Ronda. 

Day 5:

Departure day, if your departure times allow, we will take you to enjoy Málaga old town and a barbeque fish lunch at one of the locals ‘Chiringuitos’ near the Mediterranean, before transferring you to the airport or to a nearby hotel if you wish to extend your stay in the region.
